Form and expression of this city building search for both independence and cooperation with the city. The appearance of the building expresses a new dimension for the coming development of the city. The thin bricks and the concrete window frames of the same colour adopt the geometry of the orthogonal urban grid. Uniform window openings provide the apartments with exceptional amounts of light and make the façade memorable. The goal of falling below low-energy-standards is achieved through a compact area to volume relationship, highly insulated exterior building materials, thermally activated floor, and a pellet heater.
